Community & Volunteer Activities

At Social & Badminton Club, our community extends beyond the badminton court. As a nonprofit association, we encourage our members to participate in volunteer activities, cultural events, charitable initiatives, and community projects in Copenhagen and the surrounding area.

Our goal is to use our community not only to bring people together through sport, but also to contribute positively to the wider community in Denmark.

Supporting the Thai Temple & Community

Our community also participates in volunteer and charitable activities connected with the Thai Buddhist temple and Thai community in Denmark.

Members have contributed through activities such as:

• Volunteering their time during community and temple events

• Helping with the preparation and organization of activities

• Supporting charitable initiatives and donations

• Donating food, supplies, and other items when needed

• Helping members of the community during special events and gatherings

These activities are part of our broader commitment to encouraging generosity, community participation, and mutual support.

Donations & Charitable Support

Social & Badminton Club encourages its community to support charitable causes through donations and volunteer work. Depending on the needs of the community, our members may contribute through fundraising, donating essential items, supporting community organizations, or volunteering their time. We believe that even small contributions can have a meaningful impact when people come together.

Building Community Through Sport

Our regular badminton activities are themselves an important part of our community work.

We aim to provide an accessible and welcoming environment where people can:

• Stay physically active

• Meet new people

• Build friendships

• Connect with the local community

• Participate regardless of their badminton experience

• Feel part of a diverse and inclusive social network

We particularly welcome newcomers and people who may not already have an established social network in Copenhagen.
